Let's find the area of a non-right triangle with a base of 7 and a height of 8

The area of any triangle is just it's base times its height, divided by 2

Here, with a base of 7 and a height of 8, that's 56 divided by 2, or 28.

This skill teaches how to calculate the area of any triangle by multiplying the base by the height and then dividing the result by 2.
