🎙️

Let's divide this whole number by the mixed fraction 2 and one fifth

🎙️

When we are working with fraction division or multiplication, improper fractions are often a lot easier to deal with, so let's convert this into an improper fraction. 2 wholes is 10 fifths.

🎙️

So 2 and one fifth is 10 plus 1, fifths, or 11 fifths.

🎙️

Dividing by a fraction is the same as multiplying by its inverse, or the fraction flipped upside down. So it's 4, times 5 over 11.

🎙️

Which gives us an answer of 20 over 11
