Let's find the width and height of this rectangle, given its perimeter and the ratio between height and width

We know that perimeter is twice the sum of width plus height

We can plug in our numbers, and use twice height as our width

So the perimeter, 24, is equal to 6 times the height

Which means our height is 4

And our width, which is twice that, is 8
