What is the chance of not rolling doubles

The chance of not rolling doubles is 100%, or 1, minus the chance of rolling doubles.

We know the chance of doubles is 1 out of 6. The first dice can be anything, and the second dice then has a 1 in 6 chance of being the same.

So the chance of not rolling doubles is 1 minus 1 over 6

So our probability is 5 out of 6 or 83%
