What is the probabilty of picking one red triangle from each bag?

Since we need one from each bag, we multiply the probabilities of each bag.

The first bag has a 3 out of 5 chance of picking a red triangle.

And the second bag has a 2 out of 4 chance.

So let's multiply 3 over 5, by 2 over 4. We get 6 over 20, which is 0.3, or 30% chance.
