Let's calculate the slope of a line

Slope has two parts, how far up, which we call rise, and how far over, which we call run

Slope is rise divided by run.

In this case our rise is 6, and our run is 2, so our slope is 6 divided by 2.

Dividing these numbers, our slope is equal to 3
