What is the time after 30 minutes are added?

First let's read the time. The hour hand is just past 1, and the minute hand is at 6, so it's one thirty

Now we can add 30 minutes. Remember that there are 60 minutes in an hour, so that becomes 2 o'clock

We can show as a clock if we need to by putting the hour hand to 2 and the minute hand to 12, which means zero minutes
