This math unit focuses on coin arithmetic skills, progressing from simple to more complex tasks involving various U.S. coin denominations. Initially, students learn to calculate the total value of single-type coin piles, starting with nickels and gradually incorporating pennies and nickels. The exercises then advance to combinations including nickels, dimes, and by the end include quarters, challenging students with a broader range of coin types.
